the last two days had indeed been an emotional rollercoaster for me
one moment im elated
and the next moment im devastated
over and over again
on repeat mode
my eyes ran dry coz of too much weeping :(
so frustrating
but in the end
it was surprising (:

WARNING: really detailed accounts. read, if you dare. hahahaha *sticks out tongue at you* (:

Thursday, 20 March
last day of school!
then its 10 days of holidays for me!
everyone around me in school seemed so bubbly..
flashing happy smiles at me
teachers, friends and even the bus driver

once school ended,
i went back home
to pray, have lunch and be with my family
before going out again for the museum and play
but it was a mistake, i thought
coz all i got was being yelled at,
a mighty blow on my back
red, sore eyes, runny nose and more tears

but thank god.
within an hour,
my eyes became less red
but it still looks swollen.
so i went to take the mrt
to meet my classmate.
we plan to meet and go together to the museum
but i was late
and she went off first.
and knowing me, i have no idea how to get to the museum
from the mrt station.
so she told me to call her and she'll give directions from there

upon reaching the mrt station, i called her
no answer.
tried again and again.
still no answer.
i called my other classamates.
they all didn't answer their phones!!
i sensed something was wrong here,
so i didnt want to waste time
and i asked random people for directions to get to the museum
i was lucky that they were really kind to me :)

so now i know how to get to that museum by myself (LESSON LEARNT #1)
and i dont need to rely on people
which can be really hopeless at times

and so i entered the museum
ran up to level 2
went into the gallery.
security guard (S.G.) says "u cant enter unless you get a sticker"
i was like "huh? what sticker?"
S.G. replied "you need to go down to the counter to get a sticker. then you can go in"
and i ran back down the stairs (it was a long flight of stairs, my god!) to level 1
just to get a sticker -_-
then it turned out to be that i have to pay $3.50 for the gallery ticket,
and of course that sticker. -_-
but but but
the lady at the counter knew that i was late (half an hour late, to be exact *gasp*)
and she told me "no need to pay. don't tell your friends. go go. you're late"
i was like "WOW. THANKS!!"
*all smiles*
somehow
she really made my day :D

so i ran back up to level 2
and saw the security guard again :\
i showed the sticker right into his face
heheheh
and he let me in

so it was some gallery
that showcases buddha artefacts
mmm yeah.
dim-litted and full of funny sculptures
okay so i just walked past all the showcases
just to find my classmates
i follwed the museum trail,
went in deeper and deeper
and saw a few tourists admiring the artefacts
no batchmates!

then i saw this japanese lady in a suit
with a badge
and thought "maybe she works here"
so i approached her and asked
"excuse me, are you an officer here?"
omg, DUMB QUESTION!
i should have asked "excuse me, do you work here"
oh wells, i was panicking hahaha
but the japanese lady is really really kind!
i thought she didnt understand english language
coz i heard her saying some japanese words

oh but she ran into this sections of the museum
just to check for me if my batchmates are still inside
then she ran back to me
and told that they're still there
i was relieved for a moment

oh but i couldnt meet my classmates just yet
i had to deposit my bag and phone and what-nots
at this security counter
just to prevent visitors to take photos of the artefacts
(which i think they wont coz the artefacts dont appealing to me at all. heh) :P
so yeah, that took up more time
then she led the way to where my batchmates were

and the first person i saw was my teacher
my teacher saw me and the japanese lady
and my teacher laughed
and said something like "oh! you're here!"
i was like "im sorry im late. i got lost"
and she said "oh its okay its okay. you must have panicked"
lawl.
i must really go back to the museum and thank that japanese lady again
bring sushi to her :D

and i must make it a point to never be late again (LESSON LEARNT #2)

okay the contents of the gallery
was okay..
not really interested
but eye-opening :)

then it was time for us to have lunch!
we went to macs
bought food
and sat on the steps of singapore river
and ate there

we sat near to this emo guy and a couple who are dating
HAHA!
the emo guy,
was sitting all alone
staring blankly ahead
probably clearing his mind
and he looks damn emo
emo mat.
but we dont care,
we sat like 1m away from him (which is very near, mind you)
and we talked and roared with laughter and ate
until the mat got quite irrirated at us i think.
hahahaha
he got up, and walked away
still with his emo look
hahahha

and the couple...
HAHAHA
they were sitting together facing the singapore river
and we sat in front of them
we didnt notice in the first place
maybe we were too distracted with the hot, sizzling french fries we just bought
so making a lot of noises
until the couple got up from their seats and walked away
then we were like "oooops! sorry!"
haha :P

then we headed to the arts house
for the play!
comedy of errors by william shakespeare
somehow, the lady at the door didnt check for my ticket
maybe coz i entered the playden late
late. as usual. *sigh*

i saw beside my friend
who was incessantly laughing
hahahaha
coz the play was FUNNY!
kudos to laselle students
i really want to watch more of their plays
makes literature more fun :D

so i did have a great time watching the play
oh, not when my dad called me
when the play was ending (the plot was at the climax! crucial moment!)
grrr
he called me like 3 times
i rejected the first 2 calls
and had to answer the last call
and i got frustated for a little

then the play ended
happy happy happy
worth 2 hours and $11 :)

so me and my 3 other friends
made our way back to the mrt station to go home
when i was crossing the bridge
i dug into my bag
somehow, something tells me to find for my wallet
and it was MISSING

then me and a friend ran all the way back to the arts house
he reached there faster and told me to catch up
went into the playden
part of the play's crew were still there
they all helped to find find me wallet
flashing torchlights everywhere
no wallet.

then i ran into the toilet
just to check if i had left it there
no wallet.

i came out of the toilet and 3 security guards were there
they asked me to write down my particulars
and my friend talked to those guards, explaining the situations
while i called my dad
i was already tearing and he had to scold me through the phone
which didn't help at all

so my friend kept telling me to relax
and that it wasnt my fault to lose my wallet
went back to the bridge and my 2 other friends were there
they paid for my mrt ticket (thanks a lot dearies!)
and sat in the mrt, sniffing and tearing
like wth, i couldnt care less if people see me crying in public
:S
i msged boyfie
he made me feel better
then i received an sms from the friend who ran back to the arts house with me
his words were so comforting and i was touched
and it made me cry more :S

while walking home
i called boyfie
i must have sounded terrible
but hearing his voice simply made me feel secure
coz i was scared
that once i reach home
my parents will be super mad at me
but they didnt even talk to me once i reached home
which was...good?
i suppose they were mad at me
or maybe they're too tired to even scold me
ahahaha

then i showered, prayed
and waited for boyfie to call
but he's already asleep
as usual
hahahah and i dropped dead on my bed
and tried to lift the worry off my mind
i really miss my wallet :(
i must be more careful of my belongings (LESSON LEARNT #3)

Friday, 21 March
got a call from boyfie
early in the morning
he felt useless coz he wasnt there when i needed him
hahaha nah, not his fault, really
people sleep when they need sleep
hahaha

i felt slightly better today
i dunno why
but when im sad, i go to sleep and when i wake up,
i'll feel better
sleeping helps :)

and its GOOD FRIDAY!
holiday :D
but what an interesting way to spend my good friday holiday
which is
to go the to police post.

yeah i went to the neighbourhood police post
with dad (motorbike! yay)
to make a report of my lost wallet

the police officer there was :)
hahahahha
some indian looking guy with an arabic name
lawl.
so i just passed him the paper where i wrote all the details needed
to asking of questions, which saves time

and the funny thing is that my dad commented
that he wasted a lot of paper
he used up like 8 pieces of paper
report drafts, report copy for me, and for them to keep
but oh well, my dad, the (senior) police officer....
hahahah :)

then it turned out that my good friday is indeed a GOOD friday!
around 10pm
my doorbell rang
my dad opened the door
i was somewhat behind the door, listening (hahah)
and OH MY GOD
the guy came here to RETURN MY WALLET!
MY WALLETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! :D
i heard him telling my dad that a cleaner in the arts house found my wallet
and gave it to him as he works at the arts house too
so he came here to return it
then my dad asked where he's from
he was from the EAST
imagine him going allll the way to the WEST
to return back my wallet
omg only god knows how i felt like at that time
and only god will repay his kindness
and the contents of my wallet are still there!
he is such an honest man!
honest people do really exist in this world (LESSON LEARNT #4)
:D
and now im thinking of ways to thank him.

and thanks to my dad !
and boyfie too!
the power of doa. (: (LESSON LEARNT #5)

mmmm and oh the first person i called after getting back my wallet
was boyfieeee!
wow i must have sounded really happy

that he sounded happy over the phone too
hahahahaha :D
then while talking on the phone,
he found his hp warranty card
like WOOHOOO

he can send his phone for repair now :)
so we both found what we were looking for!
it was ultimate happyhappyhappyness!
:D

and that's how my good friday went.
goooooood friday indeed :)
